Novellas & Short Stories

Valentine Hart may have been named after the holiday of love, but she sure hadn't felt any of it in her life thus far.

Bo Montgomery had found great love once, but let the opinion's of his family stop him from getting what he truly wanted.

A Valentine's Day curse (or miracle) finds Val off the beaten path and directly into harm's way and into Bo's strong arms. The arms of a big man who sees in Val his second chance. If only he can convince her to stay after only three days of unbridled passion...

The Rescue is a novella that celebrates all things...LOVE.

Excerpt:

Her eyes had devoured him. She couldn’t get over how big he was. He stood at least a foot over her. Solid muscle from hard work was evident throughout his whole body. But soft layers covered them from good, hearty home cooked meals. He was literally a walking, talking teddy bear.

As he’d ladled stew into their bowls, her eyes had taken in the breadth of his shoulders, the flex of his massive arms, and the plumpness of his round behind in his gray sweats. But it was once he turned that her breath became stuck in her throat. Those sweats did little to hide what he had been gifted with by nature. The material outlined every long, wide inch of him. That strange tension inside of her grew. And she’d prayed for strength right then and there.

Val’s eyes had traveled up his thick waist, to his burly chest, and connected with his eyes. More like, collided with his eyes. When he’d rescued her, the sky had been dark with gray clouds and his hat had covered most of his face, not to mention the fact that she’d refused to look at him square on. So she hadn’t gotten a good look at him, until that moment.

Bo’s eyes were steely gray and seemed to penetrate her soul. She had been spellbound. Unable to look away.

Love is a beautiful curvy insecure woman. She’s been alone her entire life, being abandoned by her parents when she was born. Gunnar and Ryker are two men that have loved her from afar for months. But the men aren’t exactly what they seem. Stuck at work on Valentine’s Day, Love is depressed and truly feeling the deep pang of loneliness that only the Hallmark holiday can bring. Little does she know, she’s about to have the best Valentine’s Day of her life!

Excerpt from Love in the Wild:

As she tried to get up the nerve to fire the dart gun, the cats started to blur before her eyes. Love blinked rapidly several times to clear her vision. But it didn’t work. The cats’ bodies were vibrating violently, their fur seemed to be disappearing, their hind legs started to take on the shape of human legs and their front legs began to morph into human arms.

Love started to hyperventilate, as she watched the cats in mid-stride stand upright and continue walking towards her as they took the shape of two very real and very naked men. Their faces, the last to transform, altered into the most stunning men she had ever seen.

Blood rushed to Love’s head and drummed in her ears. Not only were they gorgeous and completely naked, but they were also extremely aroused. No longer able to catch her breath, Love lost all oxygen to her brain and she promptly passed out before they could reach her.
